Investment in cogeneration and energy efficiency of the LARKIS company

 

Project description:

The project includes the following scope of work:
• Modernisation of the boiler room consisting in the replacement of coal boilers with a cogeneration system with a capacity of 0.4mwel, together with internal installations: gas, technological heat, steam, ventilation and electrical installation.
• Modernisation of the replacement of the internal district heating network made with traditional technology with pre-insulated piping with weather control nodes in the buildings and with an alarm system - detection of pipeline damage

 

Project objectives:
The primary objective of the project is to increase the energy efficiency of the Larkis company. The implementation of the project will contribute to a reduction in energy intensity. The implementation of the project will contribute to lowering the energy intensity of the economy through more efficient use of energy, thus increasing the company's contribution to building a low-carbon economy - reduction of CO2, PM10, PM2.5 dust. At the same time, an additional result of the reduction in energy demand will be a reduction in the company's operating costs which will increase its competitiveness in the market.
